River City Girls 2 Teaser Trailer Released at Indie World

Indie World and developer WayForward have blessed beat ’em up and RPG fans with a new trailer for River City Girls 2. The short trailer shows the retro aesthetic and brawling gameplay the original was known for, but with a few new treats for fans. You can check out the trailer for yourself below.

The most exciting addition revealed in this trailer is the two new playable characters, Double Dragon’s Marian and Provie from River City Ransom Underground. Beyond just the new characters, we can also see what looks like an expanded combo system with lengthy air juggles. The trailer also includes a new track from composer Megan McDuffee, who returns for the soundtrack of River City Girls 2.
