Octopath Traveler Champions of the Continent Combat

Square Enix has announced an English release for Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent, the mobile game prequel to Octopath Traveler. While the game is slated to release in 2022, details are sparse.

The announcement did mention that there will be more Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent information revealed in mid-February. Additionally, the announcement came with a Facebook page where future details will be posted.

Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent will take place in the same world as Octopath Traveler but follows a new cast of characters through a branching storyline. The gameplay remains turn-based, and party members can be earned through gameplay, or recruited through a gacha mechanic.
