In early February, Square Enix announced that Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent would release in English in 2022 – two years after its Japanese release. While we still do not have a firm release date, a beta test has been announced alongside the release of the first English trailer.
The teaser trailer gives us a glimpse of the game with English text and shares basic game details, but the real news is the announcement of a closed beta test for the Android version of the game. Players can register for the beta test now through Google Play. The closed beta test begins March 22nd, 2022, at 5:00 PM PDT and ends April 4th, 2022, at 11:59 PM PDT.
Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent will release, in English, on iOS and Android in 2022.
