Paradise Killer Coming to More Platforms With New Content, Enhancements on March 16th

A few of the colorful cast of demigods you'll meet in Paradise Killer

The flashy open-world murder mystery game Paradise Killer will release on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series X|S, and the Epic Games Store on March 16th. Peep at the trailer below!

Paradise Killer players will enjoy plenty of technical improvements to go along with the next-gen hardware, including 4K 60 FPS, ray-traced reflections, faster loading times, Xbox Smart Delivery, haptic feedback, and a “day/night lightbar cycle” for the PS5’s DualSense controller. The press release mentions “general performance enhancements” for PC. Existing owners on Nintendo Switch and PC won’t be missing out either; they’ll be getting a variety of new content, rewards, collectibles, and (Steam) achievements. My personal highlight: three new tracks by composer Barry “Epoch” Topping that are guaranteed to slap. This game’s city pop-inspired soundtrack placed on our best of 2020 list for very good reason.

Speaking of which, a compilation album called About That… Paradise Killer B-Sides will release March 16th on Bandcamp alongside the game update and ports. Below is the the track list, which includes the aforementioned new music, and you can sample some of it on YouTube now.

  1. Moonrise Rapture
  2. About That…
  3. Unlimited∞Luv
  4. Misunderstand
  5. To The Heart [Vocal Version]
  6. House of Bliss [Vocal Version]
  7. 08:00 ~ Another Last Day
  8. Leaving [Piano Arr.]
  9. Lady Blue [MEEBEE & Okumura. Remix]
  10. Christmas With U
  11. About That… [Instrumental]
  12. Paradise (Stay Forever) [Instrumental]

By the way, collectors might want to nab a limited physical edition of Paradise Killer for Nintendo Switch, courtesy of 1Print Games.

If you haven’t already dived in, there’s really no better time. Check out our review if you’re curious. This whodunit about psychotic demigods killing each other feels like this implausible intersection of everything I love about fiction and aesthetics, so you’d best believe I’m finally picking this up!
