Just last week, we got word that Broccoli — the game developer, not the vegetable — was looking to bring Jack Jeanne, their opera-focused otome/rhythm game, to English and Traditional Chinese-speaking audiences. This gorgeous game released just over a year ago in Japan, so it’s exciting to see it come this way. At the time, a publisher was not revealed, but it’s probably not surprising that Aksys Games, purveyors of many fine otome titles, will be handling publishing the title in English. Check out the announcement trailer:

For a little background on the game, Aksys has you covered in today’s press release:

Kisa is about to give up her dream of becoming an actor when she is given the opportunity to attend the prestigious All Boys Drama School that she has always admired. She is granted admission with two conditions: be chosen as the lead in the final performance and hide her identity as a girl! Competition at the school is fierce and the rivalry is real! Will Kisa be able to forge powerful bonds with her all-male classmates while competing against them? Will she be cast in the lead role in the final performance at the end of the year all while keeping her secret?

Aksys Games also launched a simple teaser site for Jack Jeanne, though there isn’t much there to see yet! In Japan, the game is a Nintendo Switch exclusive, and it seems that will be the case in the West as well, further cementing the Switch as the otome fan’s console of choice.
