Shin Megami Tensei V Sells 1 Million Copies in New Series High

Praise YHVH! Atlus announced Monday that Shin Megami Tensei V has sold a million units worldwide just five months on from launch. For comparison, Shin Megami Tensei IV was last reported to have sold over 600,000 copies after two years on the market. It’s an impressive showing for the once fringe series, no doubt helped by a favorable reception from fans and critics alike, including our own own Izzy Parsons—read their review!
