AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative Delayed to July 8th in Europe and Oceania

Aiba returns in AI: The Somnium Files - nirvanA Initiative

Unfortunately, European and Oceanian fans will need to wait a little longer to initiate nirvanA. Spike Chunsoft and Numskull Games delayed AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative for both territories to July 8th across PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One due to “manufacturing delays and global shipping slowdowns.”

The delay affects both physical releases: the Standard Edition ($59.99 | €59.99 | £49.99) and the Collector’s Editon ($119.99 | €119.99 | £109.99). Unfortunately, the digital version was also pushed to July 8th to coincide with the physical copies.

AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative is still set to release in North America and Japan on June 24th. The game is a sequel to the original adventure game/visual novel, AI: The Somnium Files. Why are we excited for the sequel? Check out Audra Bowling’s review and the Retro Encounter spoilercast to find out!
