Developer Boundless Games is working with publisher Freedom Games to bring open world creature battling RPG Monster Tribe to PC this summer! Monster Tribe‘s story takes place on the island of Akama, home of a mysterious Rift that provided humanity with great power thanks to creatures known as the Ateyan. The balance between humans and Ateyan vanished along with the creatures, causing the near collapse of civilization. Can a lone human with the ability to connect with the Ateyan and summon them back from the Rift prevent Akama itself from being entirely subsumed by it? In order to find out, they must train a veritable army of monsters and uncover ancient mysteries and secrets from the island’s past.
A new trailer was released for Monster Tribe during Summer of Gaming 2022:
Monster Tribe will have players scouring Akama for resources in order to strengthen the Ateyan they lead into battle. Players control a team of four monsters in grid and turn-based combat, strengthening them through gathering experience and delving into a RPG progression system that is apparently quite versatile. The game has seventy-two Ateyan to find, boasts strategy-laden combat, and promises a memorable plot that’ll have players speculating as they uncover its mysteries.
Players can train their Ateyan for combat on August 15th, 2022. Monster Tribe will be releasing on PC.
