Developer A44 Games and publisher Kepler Interactive have released a new gameplay trailer at Gamescom for action RPG Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn that shows an even more detailed look at combat and other gameplay mechanics. Nor teams up with the mysterious and supernatural being Enki to combat the Gods and their hordes of undead. Sling spells and bullets through the air, chop foes down to size with fell swoops from your axe, and signal to Enki to use his abilities in battle whenever the time is right.

The gameplay trailer can be found below:

Oh wow… the axe combat looks particularly brutal, and the magic system in the game seems like it’ll be very engaging! We also have a selection of new screenshots for the game for viewing:

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn will bring its open-world action gameplay to PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One (Day One on Xbox Game Pass, no less!) sometime in early 2023. You can find more information on the game itself on its official website. Stay tuned to RPGFan for more coverage on Nor and Enki’s upcoming adventure in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn!

This game & The Last Oricru have my attention because they've both said they will have multiple difficulty settings. Being reflex challenged (a snail's quicker!), I generally stick to turn-based games (play them on hard). When I do pick up an ARPG I make sure it has that good, old "easy" setting! Looking forward to the reviews on both games - hoping the easy route fits me!
