Seek Your Treasure! – Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Trailer

In Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, the school you’ve enrolled in hosts a special independent study project. The theme of this assignment is “A Treasure Hunt!” Explore the world and seek out your very own treasure!

Three Stories, One Treasure Hunt

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet looks to introduce many new features to the Pokémon franchise. One such twist is that, for the first time, players will be enrolled in school. The school will be critical to the story as it will host an independent study project themed “A Treasure Hunt,” the starting point for three story paths that players can choose from. The hunt also helps to intertwine the different branches as the player journeys through the Paldea region. These three options are:

Victory Road: Players will go to Gyms in different locations to achieve Champion Rank.

Path of Legends: Upperclassmen Arven will join the player in search of rare ingredients called Herba Mystica.

Starfall Street: Players will challenge Team Star, a group of delinquents causing trouble for the school.

Introducing the “Let’s Go!” Feature

As players explore the Paldea region, they will have the option to have one of their party Pokémon follow them. While exploring the overworld with their companions, players can make use of a handy new feature known as “Let’s Go!”, which allows Pokémon to be sent in any given direction to pick up items in the area and even engage in Auto Battles with nearby Pokémon.
