More classic games are headed to Nintendo Switch Online, including a pair of beloved Pokémon spinoffs! During the recent Nintendo Direct presentation, it was revealed that Pokémon Stadium and Pokémon Stadium 2 will be among the games headed to the service’s Expansion Pack in the near future, alongside the first three Mario Party titles, Excitebike 64, GoldenEye 64, and more.

Check out a brief trailer down below!

I loved playing both Pokémon Stadium titles with rental Pokémon back in the day. Being able to see these critters in (at the time) cutting-edge 3D was a treat, and the various minigames included in the package made Stadium enticing for fans. Of course, without the ability to connect your Game Boy to the game and import your team, will these games still have the same appeal? Could we one day get the original Pokémon titles on Nintendo Switch Online? Only time will tell.
