Homestead Arcana Takes Up Residence on PC and Xbox

The vistas of Homestead Arcana are breathtaking!

Homestead Arcana may be another farming sim, but hear me out! I know there’s been a plethora of those lately, especially with the likes of Harvestella, Fae Farm, Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, and more on the way. However, in this game, you are a witch who is raising a farm but also healing a world infected by the mysterious Miasma. In the words of Zhenghua Yang, CEO of developer Serenity Forge, Homestead Arcana aims at balancing “farming, role-playing, exploration and more, all set in a world that is unique and beautiful.”

Check out the announcement trailer for Homestead Arcana from Microsoft’s ID@Xbox showcase below:

Developer Serenity Forge describes the game:

In Homestead Arcana, a mysterious presence known as the Miasma has enveloped the world, banishing the remnants of society to high plateaus above the growing cloud. Piercing its boundaries is as dangerous as it is awe inducing. In the role of Billie, a witch farmer who sets out to save the land for future generations, players must pioneer, cultivate and craft spells to revitalize the corrupted realm. Nurture plants and push back the Miasma to uncover its origins.

Homestead Arcana launches for PC via Steam and Game Pass for Xbox Series X|S and PC “soon.” How soon? A definitive date is not yet set, but check back at RPGFan as we learn more!
