About

Genshin Concert 2022, directed by the world-famous composer, arranger, and music producer Shiro Sagisu, will be an hour and 15 minutes long. The symphonic music performance will feature the Hollywood Chamber Orchestra and will be conducted by Eímear Noone, known for her video game music work in Overwatch, Hearthstone, Diablo III, World of Warcraft, and The Legend of ZeldaHere’s what some of the people involved have said about their work at the event.

“Creating music for Genshin Impact has always been an endless exploration for me and the HOYO-MiX team,” said Yu-Peng Chen, Composer and Music Producer of HOYO-MiX. “In the past year, as Inazuma and Sumeru unfolded, we’ve strived to enrich the Genshin Impact music with inspirations drawn from all over the world. I’m excited to see how these soundtracks resonate with musicians and players across the world.”

“The original Genshin Impact soundtracks fit perfectly into the actual in-game scenes and ambiance, and also provide much to imagine beyond the game,” said Shiro SAGISU. “Together with the HOYO-MiX team and global artists, we’ve tried different touches to the music, weaving elements of pop music, rock, and jazz into it. Hopefully, we can create a refreshing and fun experience for the players.”

Genshin Concert 2022 will be available to stream for free on October 1st at 9:00 PM PDT.
