Square Enix has revealed that Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis, the episodic retelling of the entire original Final Fantasy VII timeline, has been delayed into 2023.

The mobile title’s beta was originally intended to release this winter, but that will now take place in the summer of next year.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis – Winter Trailer:

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is a chapter-structured single-player experience which will cover the whole of the Final Fantasy VII timeline, including the events of the original game along with all the Final Fantasy VII compilation titles, as well as new story elements, penned by Final Fantasy VII Remake story and scenario writer Kazushige Nojima, surrounding the origins of SOLDIER.

Even though this is a mobile game, I’m actually really excited about this one! I’m sure we’ll be given more information regarding Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis as we get closer to its beta in the summer of next year, so make sure to keep an eye on RPGFan’s news feed.
