As we look ahead to 2023, which is absolutely packed with games we’re excited about, it’s time for us to take a look back at the year behind us, which has also had its fair share of excellent games!
As I write this, we’re closing in on the end of our staff voting and top games lists, which means it’s time to collect your favorites of 2022! As always, we have a voting form below — with a brand-new “Sleeper Hit” category where you can vote on your favorite surprise of the year — and your top picks will be revealed in January with the rest of our Games of the Year choices. We offer several ideas in each category, but we always include a write-in section if you want to pick something else.
