Serenity Forge and Toge Productions announced that Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly will debut this year on April 20th. The visual novel is a follow-up to the 2020 coffee brewing and heart-to-heart talking simulator, Coffee Talk. The second episode comes out on PC via Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Check the announcement trailer below for a glimpse of the gameplay.
There’s great news for collectors since standard physical copies of both games were also revealed, including a Collector’s Edition for the latest title and a bundle for both. Pre-orders have started at selected retailers such as Serenity Forge, VGP, and Target, retailing from $39.99 to $149.99 USD. It’s worth mentioning that the physical versions will arrive during the fall.
I recently started playing Coffee Talk, which was gifted to me, and I couldn’t agree more with Audra’s delightful review of the game that it is such a clever concept with a relaxing tone. As a fellow coffee lover, it was easy for this franchise to catch my attention, even though I’m also a little late to playing the game.
On April 20th, brew specialty drinks and have meaningful friendships and discussions once more with otherworldly creatures in a cafe set in an alternative Seattle with Coffee Talk 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly.
