Pokémon Presents Set for February 27th

Well, it’s that time of year again. The Pokémon Company International has announced that a Pokémon Presents will take place on February 27th to celebrate Pokémon Day! The event will be roughly 20 minutes long and begins at 6:00 AM PST/9:00 AM EST/2:00 PM GMT.

What Could We See at Pokémon Presents?

Pokémon Presents has always been a bit of a mixed bag, but the company often brings out some big reveals for the franchise’s anniversary. For example, Pokémon Day 2021 gave us our first look at Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl and Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Then, in 2022, we were introduced to Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.

Now I’d be surprised if we got anything quite that big this year, but I would expect some sort of major spin-off title to be announced. The hot rumour right now is that Mystery Dungeon is set to make a return.

Another possibility is a reveal of the next Detective Pikachu movie. Assuming that the project is still in the works, of course.

For any fan of the series, the announcement of a Pokémon Presents is always exciting, even if a little predictable. Of course, here at RPGFan, we’ll provide full coverage of the event, so make sure to keep an eye on our news feed following the event.
