Bandai Namco’s Sword Art Online: Last Recollection will land on PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on October 6th. Check out the latest trailer for this upcoming entry in the long-running Sword Art Online series!

Sword Art Online: Last Recollection is based on the series’s War of the Underworld anime arc and explores what would’ve happened if Kirito, Eugeo, and their allies didn’t meet their ends in it. Players will guide Kirito and his crew as they battle the demonic forces of the Dark Territory. Last Recollection will also introduce new characters and features and include the series’ trademark high-speed battles, MMO-like multiplayer, and multitude of unique endings.

Sword Art Online: Last Recollection will arrive as the series celebrates its 10th anniversary and marks the first entry available on next-gen consoles. The last Sword Art Online title to release on consoles and PC was 2021’s Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris.

The end is approaching for the Underworld, a virtual reality created to further the development the supreme AI known as A.L.I.C.E.

The Underworld War pits the Human Realm against the Dark Territory in a fight for their lives.
Amidst the chaos, a mysterious dark knight flies in from the Dark Territory with a young girl.

Is she the key to a bright future, or will she seal everyone’s tragic fate?

In this action RPG, players take on the role of Kirito, the main character from the SWORD ART ONLINE anime, and adventure with his friends in order to save the virtual Underworld, where the end is imminent.

This is the culmination of the SAO game series, featuring high-speed battles, MMO-like multiplayer, over 40 playable characters, and the largest number of unique endings.
