To take part in the festivities, tune into the Square Enix Twitch channel / YouTube channel as the producer, Yoshi-P, gives a special keynote for the event’s opening act. The celebration will run for approximately 4 hours and 45 minutes in total. The event’s schedule is as follows:

Final Fantasy XVI Pre-Launch Celebration Schedule

  • 4:00pm: Producer Keynote with Naoki Yoshida
  • 5:15pm: Eikon Power Showcase with Maximilian Dood, Hiroshi Takai and Ryota Suzuki
  • 6:30pm: Narrative of XVI with Alanah Pierce, Kazutoyo Maehiro and Michael-Christopher Koji Fox
  • 7:45pm: Music of XVI with Alex Moukala and Masayoshi Soken
  • 8:45pm: Closing Messages from the Team

Previously, FF fans got a glimpse of what to expect in the game through the “Salvation” trailer that aired at the May 2023 PS Showcase. Here at RPGFan, Scott Clay got to preview the first five hours of the game, and he eagerly encourages everyone to give it a chance even if the action combat system isn’t right up your alley. We will certainly be covering the game more leading up to its release, so please look forward to it!

Final Fantasy XVI launches globally on June 22nd for the PlayStation 5.
