At the Final Fantasy XVI Pre-Launch Celebration, Square Enix has announced that a playable demo for Final Fantasy XVI launches tomorrow, June 12th at 1:00 am PT/4:00 am ET. Here’s the reference for the global launch timing:

To spice things up even further, the company shared a new “Ascension” trailer:

The Final Fantasy XVI prologue demo on PlayStation Store will cover the first two hours and a half of the game. Players can look forward to witnessing the world of Valisthea and gaining more insights about the main protagonist, Clive Rosfield. Any progress made in the demo will be carried over to the full launch of the game next week.

Upon completion of the prologue, players will unlock another two-hour action-packed battle demo to get a first-hand experience of the combat. The optional demo however can be replayed as many times as you can, but you won’t be able to save your progress.

Final Fantasy XVI is launching next week, June 22nd, exclusively on PlayStation 5.
