Dark Souls Meets Deckbuilding in Deck of Souls

Dark Souls fans in the mood for some caRdPG action are in luck: the Guerrilla Collective Showcase revealed that Dark Souls-inspired deck-builder Deck of Souls is heading for PC via Steam! We don’t yet have a release date, but we do have this enticing announcement trailer:

Deck of Souls combines strategic card combat, dungeon crawling, roguelite deck-building, and a robust class system. Talk about ambitious. Players will fight through dungeons, turning their enemies’ souls into cards they can use to customize and unleash an array of special moves. The trailer also shows off the game’s adorable, light-hearted art style and incorporation of other RPG mainstays, like progression and inventory systems.

Deck of Souls is the work of a disabled developer from Argentina, Dante Andriano of Bigboot Studios. He previously worked on Halftime Heroes and Smithy Wars for PC. Both titles boast no shortage of positive reviews, so we should be sure to keep close eyes on this game as it nears release!
