Meet the Bachelorettes in New Rune Factory 3 Special Trailer

XSEED Games dropped a new trailer for Rune Factory 3 Special that shows off the 11 bachelorettes players can date once the game releases for PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch on September 5th!

I’ve never played a Rune Factory game, but this trailer intrigues me. Dating an “apprentice witch and doctor-in-training” like Marian while playing a gorgeously illustrated farming sim and dungeon-crawler sounds like a memorable experience. Other standout ladies include Sofia, an heiress who apparently always says the opposite of what she means, and Raven, a prickly blacksmith’s assistant whom the trailer makes clear … doesn’t actually want to talk to you.

Pre-orders are now live for the Switch version of Rune Factory 3 Special. The “Golden Memories” edition includes a soundtrack CD, a custom 5” by 8” planner containing in-game seasons in addition to a real-world calendar, and an acrylic standee measuring 6” wide and 4” tall featuring protagonists from the last three games, all packaged with the game in a custom box with an original illustration.

Rune Factory 3 Special is a remastered version of the Nintendo DS classic Rune Factory 3: A Fantasy Harvest Moon. In addition to revamped graphics, Rune Factory 3 Special features a Newlywed Mode (a series of standalone adventures unlocked after marriage to each of the 11 eligible bachelorettes who grace the new trailer), Another Episode (fully voiced picture stories narrated by those same characters), and a “Hell” difficulty to challenge Rune Factory veterans!
