Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Open Doors to Area Zero on September 13th

Roaming the lands in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.

The latest DLC for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet will be here sooner than you know it! During the Pokémon Presents event on August 8th, Game Freak and The Pokémon Company announced that “The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask” DLC launches on September 13th. The companies revealed new footage detailing the DLC and a new in-game campaign for Mew and Mewtwo fans!

First up, let’s check out Area Zero in the trailers below:

Fans do not have to wait until September to experience something new! Currently, a special event is going on in both Pokémon Scarlet & Violet to catch Mew and Mewtwo. All players need to do to grab Mew is enter the code GETY0URMEW in the Mystery Gift menu. You have until September 18th at 7:59 a.m. PT to redeem the code. On the other hand, you’ll need a lot more strength to win Mewtwo to your side. Between August 31st at 5:00 p.m. PDT and September 17th at 4:59 p.m. PDT, players can take on Mewtwo with the Mightiest Mark in a special Tera Raid Battle.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet are available now for the Nintendo Switch. The second part of the upcoming DLC, titled “The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk” launches sometime this winter. You can check out Niki Fakhoori’s review of the base game.
