Visions of Mana, the first new series entry in 15 years, boasts a beautiful semi-open world. Its protagonist is Val, a resident of the Fire Village. Be sure to check out both Ben Love‘s and Tin Manuel‘s recent write-ups to get caught up on what is sure to be one of the biggest titles of the year.
If you missed the Mana (known in Japan as Seiken Densetsu) games for whatever reason, we heavily encourage you to check out the aforementioned 2020 remake of Trials of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 3), for which Greg Delmage wrote an awesome review. The game simply does so many things right as a remake. It’s a can’t miss for action RPG fans who might be interested in Visions later this year.
Visions of Mana is set to grace modern consoles—PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store—in late 2024.
