Tabletop-Inspired RPG Marisa of Liartop Mountain Launches 2024

Developer Unknown X and publisher Alliance Arts have revealed a 2024 PC (via Steam) release window for Marisa of Liartop Mountain, a tabletop-inspired adventure RPG in the Touhou Project series. Alliance Arts released a brand-new teaser trailer that includes gameplay snippets and depicts the heroine Reimu in search of Marisa.

Advance or retreat, there lies a mountain of falsehood. In the depths of Marisa’s lies, the conclusion to the story will be decided by you.

Welcome to a mystic world of adventure, sewn together by a singular magical book. ‘Marisa of Liartop Mountain’ is an adventure role-playing game that progresses according to the player’s decision-making, in addition to the guidance of dice. You, the player, will play as Reimu and explore a mountain of books filled with mysteries and lies in search of the whereabouts of the missing Marisa.

Future of the battle entrusted to your wits and dice rolls

Numerous creators have contributed to Marisa of Liartop Mountain, including Hugo Hall for the scenario, RD-Sounds for the music, and Sarasa Toumi for the vocals of the theme song featured in the trailer.
