Marvelous Monster-Farming Game Farmagia to Release November 1st

We first heard of Farmagia (formerly Project Magia) back in early June when Marvelous kicked off their company showcase with almost eight minutes of coverage. Product Manager Takehiro Ishida offered some character introductions that fell more or less into the classic tropes we know and love. A young male JRPG protagonist who leaps before he looks? You don’t say.

Tropes and jokes aside, during the most recent Nintendo Direct, fans of the upcoming monster-farming game got their first look at gameplay footage as well as a release date: Farmagia launches for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam) on November 1st.

Farmagia Overview

In the world of Felicidad farmers known as Farmagia raise and command monsters, who live in harmony under the watchful eye of the Magus Diluculum. This peace brought prosperity to the land until the death of the Magus, which drew opportunists seeking to use monsters to seize power for themselves.

The spreading conflict reaches the town of Centvelt, forcing resident Farmagia Ten and his friends to join the battle against the despotic new ruler Glaza. Players will take the role of Ten and his fellow Farmagia friends, cultivating and commanding an army of home-grown monsters as they explore Felicidad’s treacherous lands, searching for valuable resources to improve their farm.

As Ten’s skill and farm improve, he’ll have access to more monsters to nurture and new traits to aid him in his fight for freedom!

Farmagia launches for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam) on November 1st. The game will cost $59.99 USD, and the Day One Edition includes a copy of the game, an outer box, a 96-page art book, and the original soundtrack.
