It’s official! NIS America have announced that The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II will be coming West in early 2025 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. NIS America may have been forced to make this announcement after a recent mistake by PlayStation led to translated title images being visible to Japanese players with their PlayStation store language set to English.

Known in Japan as The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki Ⅱ -CRIMSON SiN, Daybreak II has been available in that territory since September 2022. With this announcement however, the English speaking market stands on the precipice of series parity with Japan, something Western fans of the popular series have long wanted.
More recently, the preceding title in the series, The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak, released on July 5th, and has so far been well received. RPGFan review powerhouse Audra Bowling had almost nothing negative to say in her recent review, awarding Daybreak the much coveted RPGFan Editor’s Choice.
