Adglobe, Live Wire and developer Binary Haze Interactive have announced that ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom In The Mist will fully release on January 22nd for PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The Early Access period on PC via Steam will also end with the launch on consoles, bringing it to version 1.0.

A sequel to 2021’s ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights, ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom In The Mist is a dark fantasy Metroidvania RPG set in the Land of Fumes, a near-fallen geological kingdom. To gain strength and superiority in the larger world, it created artificial life known as Homunculi, who were eventually corrupted by toxic Fumes leaking from deep underground.
Players will embody protagonist Lilac, an “Attuner” who can cleanse Homunculi of their corruption. With this ability, she will heal key Homunculi, who in turn will lend her their strength throughout her journey to understand who she is, how the Land of Fumes fell, and what can be done about it. ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom In The Mist Synopsis
Set in the Land of Fumes, this prosperous magical superpower is home to vast quantities of magical resources lurking underneath the surface. In hopes of advancing their kingdom’s development, artificial life forms known as Homunculi came into being. Regrettably, toxic Fumes from the underground drove the Homunculi to madness, turning them into feral monsters.
You play as Lilac, an “Attuner” who possesses the power to save the Homunculi. Upon waking, you find yourself in a laboratory deep in the underground. There, you will become acquainted with the Homunculi closely involved in the kingdom’s downfall. Together with the Homunculi, set out in search of your lost memories and precious friends in the Land of Fumes. Follow the journey of destruction and rebirth in a post-apocalyptic world, decades after the disastrous Rain of Death.
SCENARIO
ENDER MAGNOLIA is a dark fantasy 2D side-scrolling action RPG where you venture through the desolate Land of Fumes trying to save both humans and Homunculi. At the forefront of magical and mechanical development, the kingdom comprises of a hierarchical societal structure. Pre-orders for physical editions will begin soon in Japan, with Binary Haze stating that information on physical editions in other regions will be released at a later date.
As someone who played ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights a little after its release and quite enjoyed it, I’m very curious to see how the official launch of its sequel is received. If its “Overwhelmingly Positive” Early Access reviews on Steam are anything to go by, it seems like Binary Haze may have a sterling gem on its hands.
