United Label and developer Sam Enright have released a new gameplay overview trailer for Beyond Galaxyland detailing its starward premise, monster-catching mechanics, and worlds. Check out over five minutes of footage below!

Beyond Galaxyland | Gameplay Overview Trailer

As seen above, Beyond Galaxyland looks to offer players a wide suite of activities to explore within the eponymous Galaxyland. These range from situations involving wild-life photography, pixellated hover-bike racing, and perspective-changing detective work, among others. Beyond that, the game anchors its RPG experience in turn-based combat layered with an extensive monster-collecting mechanic. Players can catch almost any monster in the game, including various bosses that can be summoned to strategic effect, whether with devastating attacks or debilitating debuffs.

Its narrative focuses on high-school student Doug, who is whisked away from Earth moments before its destruction by a devourer of worlds known simply as “The End”. He finds himself in an artificial solar system known as Galaxyland where he must gather allies, solve the mystery of his survival, and perhaps, find a way home.
