Developer and publisher Valorware has announced that 9th Dawn Remake will be available on PC via Steam starting on September 25th. Valorware has added two impressive additions: 2.5D graphics and a first-person mode to this originally top-down 2D action RPG.

In a first for the 9th Dawn series, a 170-page e-novel The Book of Nameless will also be released to Steam, available separately or as a bundle with 9th Dawn Remake.

Check out the launch trailer below.

9th Dawn Remake Details and Features

This reimagining of the original 9th Dawn game delivers everything fans have been asking for … and then some. Bring a friend along with online co-op and 2-player local co-op. Explore and do battle in first-person, go (hardcore) fishing, revisit favorite locations – or stumble on new ones.

Like the original title, 9th Dawn Remake is a truly massive open world RPG – where dedicated (and curious!) players can spend 200+ hours completing the main and side quests, collecting rare loot, and raising monster pets. Bursting at the seams with dungeon-crawling hijinks, 9th Dawn Remake lovingly riffs on the original 9th Dawn game – revamping the combat and streamlining quests to deliver a novel, exhilarating 9th Dawn experience. 9th Dawn Remake has also been localized into French, Spanish, German, Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Brazilian Portuguese!
