Stellar Blade to Get NieR: Automata DLC; OST Up on Streaming Services

Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Shift Up have revealed that their recently released action RPG Stellar Blade will be receiving an extensive photo mode update alongside a collaboration with NieR: Automata. Both will be released simultaneously sometime in 2024.

The announcement came via the September 2024 State of Play with a stylish trailer showcasing photo mode options, brilliant beats, and teaser footage of the crossover.

The trailer also confirmed that the original soundtrack for Stellar Blade is available now on specific streaming services, including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music. It comprises 189 tracks totaling over ten hours of listening.

About Stellar Blade

Stellar Blade tells a sci-fi story about humans who have fled into the stars after alien invaders known as the Naytiba decimated Earth. Players take the role of Eve, an android sent to the ruins of Earth to reclaim it from the Naytiba. In that pursuit, she will engage in high-octane real-time gameplay that threads between rapid combat, exploration, and a deeper unraveling of the mysteries that lie beneath Earth’s surface. I can speak for myself in that my want to play Stellar Blade has risen because of this collaboration. I imagine I’m not alone in that. I wonder if the NieR: Automata crossover will simply be cosmetic or something more substantial. Only time will tell!
