Metaphor: ReFantazio Prologue Demo Available Now on Consoles & PC

Atlus and developer Studio Zero have announced that a demo for its highly-anticipated fantasy RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio is available now on digital storefronts for PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. It gives players access to the opening hours of the game, with save data that can be transferred to the full game on release. Check out its accompanying trailer below!

Specifically, the demo will comprise several hours’ worth of content, including the first four dungeons, the ability to unlock seven classes (known as Archetypes), and to meet six followers, including several party members. Additionally, it was also confirmed that longtime Atlus mascot Jack Frost would feature in the full release of Metaphor: ReFantazio as a demon that players can summon using a unique Archetype known as the Summoner. How cool!

About Metaphor: ReFantazio

Metaphor ReFantazio puts players in the role of an unnamed protagonist seeking to lift a curse from a childhood friend, a prince from the Kingdom of Euchronia. In that quest, they will awaken to an ancient power known as the Archetype that will carry them through battle with magic and skill. Framing that narrative is the Royal Tournament, a contest of popularity that will have players travelling across the world of Euchronia. Across the journey, they must find the support of the population around them by accomplishing great deeds, woven into a system of deep time management where each choice matters.
