Akatsuki Games and Aniplex have partnered to publish a new 2D top-down pixel action RPG, HYKE: Northern Light(s). Announced as Project HYKE in September of this year, the game’s official title was revealedat the recently concluded Tokyo Game Show. The developers have committed to releasing the title on platforms “to be determined.”
In HYKE: Northern Light(s), players can swap party members on the fly while exploring a rich world torn apart by war between humans and witches. Then in camp, players can lay out their gear according to their preferences, as well as cook and enjoy the game’s vibrant soundtrack. The game promises a nostalgic yet exciting experience with real-time combat and charming pixel graphics.
Though few other details are known about HYKE: Northern Light(s), the game is said to be voiced in Japanese, with subtitles and text available in 13 languages. For more details, check out the overview below (courtesy of Gematsu).
