Hades II Gets Major Update; New Characters and Third Region Added

On its sixth month in Early Access, Hades II has received its first major update. This huge “Olympic” update adds macOS support (Apple M1 or later). Supergiant Games has also introduced new story content, characters, animal familiars, two returning Gods (Athena and Dionysus), more challenges, a new Xinth weapon, and the third region in the game, wherein players have to conquer the new Titan boss Prometheus.

At the 1:30 mark, you might notice a familiar voice from Final Fantasy XVI and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Yes, voice actor Ben Starr joins the cast as Prometheus, the Titan of Foresight.

• Discover more of the story, with close to 2,500 new voice lines for the game’s big, colorful cast!

This update also adds native support for Mac systems with Apple M1 or later, numerous quality-of-life improvements, plenty of new art and audio, and other little surprises we’re excited for you to find!
