Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Coming to PC on January 23rd, 2025

At The Game Awards 2024, Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will come to PC on January 23rd, 2025, via Steam and the Epic Games Store. A new trailer accompanied the announcement, showcasing what players might expect from the port. Check it out below!

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth – PC ANNOUNCE TRAILER

As seen above, this new edition will provide a suite of improvements native to PC such as improved lighting, enhanced graphics, DLSS and VRR, and mod support. This follows the PC ports of Final Fantasy VII Remake in 2022 and Final Fantasy XVI earlier this year, indicating Square’s continued commitment to multiplatform releases eventual or immediate.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth centres on a world-spanning journey beyond the boundaries of VII Remake‘s Midgar. Players will take on the roles of Cloud, Aerith, Tifa, Barret, Red XIII, and more as they seek to stop Sephiroth and try to save a world slowly and surely dying. Combine strategic thinking with thrilling action combat alongside your comrades, including newly added characters. Deepen their relationships to unleash powerful team-based combos .

Beyond the Walls of Fate

In this standalone adventure for fans and newcomers, Cloud and his comrades venture across the planet, their fates unwritten, making each step outside the dystopian city of Midgar fresh and mysterious.

Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth will be released on PC via Steam and EGS on January 23rd, 2025. It is currently available on PlayStation 5.
