At a time of year when many North American students are either coming off exam break, or looking ahead to the next one (both?), publisher PQube and developer Acquire want dungeon crawling JRPG fans to know: their heroes will be in session later this year. Class of Heroes 3 Remaster is scheduled to release in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

Fans of the genre have to be thrilled by the news and clearly PQube and Acquire feel the Western market has changed compared to 15 years ago.

2010 was the year that the original Class of Heroes 3 was released in Japan for PlayStation 3 and PSP, but the third installment of the series never made its way out West. A decade and a half later, the announcement that Class of Heroes 3 Remaster is set to land on Western shores for the first time follows the updated release of the original two games in the series just nine months ago, Class of Heroes 1 & 2: Complete Edition.

Regardless of the economics behind the scenes, Class of Heroes fans and newcomers alike will get the chance to drop into this education-themed JRPG series by enrolling in one of three distinct schools, forming bonds with a colorful cast of characters, traversing bigger dungeons than ever before and experimenting with a wide variety of classes, weapons, and party combinations.

Check out all the latest hallway gossip below including the announcement trailer for Class of Heroes 3 Remaster, an overview of the game, as well as the latest screenshots featuring updated visuals for this new generation of students.
