Edge of Memories Brings Combat & Corrosion In New Trailer

Nacon and developer Midgar Studio have released a new gameplay trailer for their JRPG Edge of Memories. It gives players a bite-sized taste of what to expect from its real-time action combat and environments, ranging from pustule-covered landscapes to golem-guarded green valleys. Check it out below!

About Edge of Memories

Players will take on the role of Eline, a soul-whisperer battling endlessly against a spreading illness known as the Corrosion. In that eternal fight, she realizes a way to hold the Corrosion in her body and wield it in battle.

To save the world, Eline will journey across the continent of Avaris alongside her mentor Ysoris and the shaman prince Kanta. Players will engage in real-time battles against corrupted enemies, stringing together combos using companions’ skills. For a deeper look, check out a synopsis below:

Carried by the enchanting voice of Emi Evans, known for her work on NieR: Automata, your journey culminates with a final theme composed by Yasunori Mitsuda, famed for his work on games such as Chrono Trigger, Xenoblade Chronicles and Sea of Stars.
