For a mecha fan, nothing hits quite like a Super Robot Wars game. Throwing your favorite giant robots in anime into a strategy RPG with beautiful attack animation — it can’t get much better than that. Now, over 30 years into the series, a new title was announced during the recent Japanese Nintendo Direct: Super Robot Wars Y! And it’s releasing this year, in Japan and internationally!
Bandai Namco has listed some of the mechas that will be joining the latest game in the announcement trailer below:
