Another Crab’s Treasure Gets New Game+ and More in Free Update

Developer Aggro Crab has announced that their crustacean-themed action RPG Another Crab’s Treasure will receive a substantial free update, launching on April 21st for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store, with the Switch version coming at a later date.

Titled “The Year of the Crab”, the update will add, among other features, a New Game+ mode that introduces remixed boss and enemy encounters, as well as new costumes, upgrade options, stowaway slots, and Sigils.

In terms of bosses, The Year of the Crab will add rematches against every boss in the base game, a boss rush mode and an entirely new fight. Plus, new achievements and trophies to earn. Check out the reveal trailer below!

Beyond the update, Aggro Crab announced that Another Crab’s Treasure will receive a physical edition for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch later this year, made possible in partnership with distributor Iam8bit. It will include the base game and DLC, with further surprises to be revealed sometime soon.

Another Crab’s Treasure puts players in the role of Kril, a hermit crab seeking enough treasure to buy back his recently repossessed shell. In that pursuit, he will explore the deep expanse of the sea, tussling with many a foe using trash found around him as both his shell and weapons of choice.

Another Crab’s Treasure is available now on PS5, XSX, XB1, Switch, and PC via Steam.
