Fans of the popular tabletop game with a dark spin on Arthurian legends, Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, will be delighted to hear the latest update on the video game adaptation. After being in development for six years (two in Early Access), the Polish first-person, open-world RPG launches officially on May 23rd. You may be familiar with the series with 2021’s Tainted Grail: Conquest, though that title was a roguelite card battler set in the same world. Not sure what to make of Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon? Luckily, a demo is available on multiple platforms. If a 50–70 hour open-world RPG set in a grim retelling of Arthurian legend sounds exciting, this might just be the game for you. Do you want to be an alchemist or a blacksmith? The choice is yours!
Developer Questline and Publisher Awaken Realms gave us the highlights on what to expect from the final version of the game:
