Pokémon Legends: Z-A Set to Release October 16th; Pokémon Presents Announced

The Pokémon Company has announced that Pokémon Legends: Z-A will release on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on October 16th. Pre-orders will be available starting June 5th, with those looking to play the Switch 2 version of Z-A needing to purchase an upgrade pack.

Following the announcement, it has also been confirmed that a Pokémon Presents will take place later this summer, on July 22nd. While a lot of this news pertains to future events, The Pokémon Company has treated us to the reveal of the cover art for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, pictured below:

Well, the hype cycle for Legends Z-A is officially in full swing, and I for one can’t wait. I was a little apprehensive about the game at first, but the recent gameplay of the title running on Switch 2 has me really excited. The Legends series has been a breath of fresh air for Pokémon, and while I’ll always be up for a traditional style game, I’m all for a bit of innovation when it comes to the franchise.
