With zany characters and attack numbers in the millions, the Disgaea series has hit a chord with strategy RPG fans for the last two decades. The latest entry, Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless, launched back in 2023 for multiple consoles, but only one console will have a new enhanced package with all of its DLC and new content: the Switch 2. Disgaea 7 Complete launches for the latest Nintendo hardware sometime this fall.
NIS America teased some of the new features we’ll see in the enhanced version in the announcement trailer below:
As expected, all of the previously released DLC for the base game will be available from the get-go in Disgaea 7 Complete, along with new content. Longtime fans will be excited for the new episode that follows Fuji, Pirilika, and more of the Hinomoto crew as they visit various Netherworlds from previous games in the series (hey, Laharl!). And if the stats couldn’t get any higher, Disgaea 7 Complete adds uncapped stats, free-to-use Infernal Weapons, and a fight against one of the toughest challenges in the series: Rakshasa Baal. Oh, and the game adds a new character, Asagi, who is described as the “eternal next main character.”
Fans of physical editions have a few options. First, NIS America is offering the Disgaea 7 Complete Deluxe Edition ($69.99 USD) that includes the following:
- Mini poster
- Sticker sheet
- Nintendo Switch 2 key card copy of the game
On the other hand, the Disgaea 7 Complete Ewwdo Edition ($99.99) is exclusive to the NIS America Online Store and contains the following:
- Collector’s box
- Lucky slumber cat figurine
- Netherworld support force folding fan
- Nintendo Switch 2 key card copy of the game
Return to Hinomoto in style! Pirilika, a super-rich demon with a love for all things bushido, travels to the Hinomoto Netherworlds to enjoy their rich culture and delicious food. But when she arrives, she finds that her precious “sowba” and “you-don” noodles have been replaced with pasta by the nefarious Demmodore Opener! With her beloved culture and cuisine destined to become relics of the past, Pirilika recruits the wayward warrior Fuji to help slap Hinomoto back to its senses!
