Latest Monster Hunter Wilds Update Brings Lagiacrus and Seregios to the Wilds

During the latest Capcom Spotlight, Capcom detailed Title Update 2 for Monster Hunter Wilds, headlined by the comeback of two fan-favourite monsters: Lagiacrus and Seregios.

• Lagiacrus, the iconic leviathan from Monster Hunter 3, returns with all-new underwater showdowns, complete with exclusive aquatic actions that take full advantage of the game’s revamped water-combat system.
• Seregios, first seen in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, swoops back in with a whirlwind of talons and razor-sharp scales. Its lightning-fast dive-bombs and scale shots demand constant motion, and if you mistime your dodge, its attacks will leave you bleeding.

Between these two threats (and more surprises teased for the patch), hunters can look forward to a fresh injection of high-octane challenges in Monster Hunter Wilds.

In addition to the two newly revealed monsters, this Monster Hunter Wilds update brings a host of other features:

• Arch-tempered Uth Duna Appears for a Limited Time! Face Arch-tempered Uth Duna in the ultimate hunting challenge starting July 30 in an event quest and free challenge quest!
• Layered Weapons : Craft the final weapon in a tree to use it as layered equipment and create the look you want no matter which weapon you use!
• Festival of Accord: Flamefete: During seasonal events, the Grand Hub’s decorations and meals change to fit the season, and you’ll also be able to obtain unique equipment, gestures, camp decorations, and more!
• Photo Mode Enhancements: New features have been added to Photo Mode to help you snap the perfect shot. Adjust brightness and apply filters in the Effects tab, and hide your handler, Palico, Seikret, and more in the Character Display tab.
• Event Quest Fender Special Collaboration: The Monster Hunter Rathalos Telecaster® released worldwide for the 20th anniversary of Monster Hunter is also coming to the game! Earn a special gesture featuring this guitar by completing an event quest available from August 27 to September 24, 2025!
• Further improvements for other sections of the game are also on the way, such as being able to change your handler from Alma to Erik, the addition of a support hunter, and the ability to select which support hunters join you on quests.
• New gestures and Paid Cosmetic DLC Pack 2.
