Publisher Fellow Traveler and developer Sunset Visitor have announced that 1000xRESIST will finally launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass on November 4th. New language options such as Portuguese (Brazilian), French, and Korean will be added to existing versions with the upcoming console release.
1000xRESIST first launched on May 9th, 2024, for Nintendo Switch and PC. It has received an “overwhelmingly positive” reception on Steam. According to Nealās PC review, itās a must-play for anyone looking to experience a game with a compelling narrative despite the janky gameplay.
1000xRESIST Overview
Set 1,000 years in the future, in 1000xRESIST you become a Watcher named Iris as the end of humanity is nigh. After a mysterious alien race arrives, referred to as the Occupants, bringing with it a terrible disease, humanity is all but wiped out. The survivors head underground and begin to serve the ALLMOTHER who rules this new society.
Iris, one of six āSistersā with specific roles, has great responsibility as a Watcher and is provided access to all of the ALLMOTHERās memories including the tragedy of how humanity was wiped out. However, when a fellow Sister uncovers the ALLMOTHERās lies and is executed for her treason, Iris must resist all that she has been taught and fight to uncover the truth.
The Peabody-award winning and Hugo and Nebula-nominated game received high praise in 2024 and was featured on several game of the year lists, for its rich narrative, striking soundtrack, and more than 10 hours of fully voiced dialogue.
