Action RPG Loulan: The Cursed Sand Revealed

Chinese indie developer ChillyRoom has unveiled the first look at Loulan: The Cursed Sand in a new action-packed trailer.

This title is supported by PlayStation as part of the China Hero Project, and is set to release in the future for the PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. As of now, a release window has not been announced.

Loulan: The Cursed Sand boasts a powerhouse development team who grew up gaming in the ‘80s and ‘90s. Several of them have previously worked on games from renowned studios such as Santa Monica Studio, FromSoftware, and PlatinumGames.

Loulan: The Cursed Sand is an action RPG set along the ancient Silk Road in the Western Regions of China. It tells a tragic love story of an exiled royal guard who returns to the fallen kingdom of Loulan amidst the chaos of war to find his beloved princess.

You play as the skeletal warrior known as “The Cursed Sand”, mastering the power of sand to explore and solve puzzles in a perilous top-down world. Engage in realistic melee combat against overwhelming odds, defeat powerful enemies, and confront the fate of your own cursed existence.
