If we have learned anything from RPGs, it’s that the kindness of strangers goes a long way to saving the world. And I can’t stress enough that this ideology also applies to real life as well. Extra Life has helped children’s hospitals all over the world since its inception in 2008, and this year RPGFan is partnering with our friend BakusanOG’s team the Crusaders of Chaotic Kindness to raise money for this exact reason. They have already raised over $9000 USD, and hope to break past their 10K goal this weekend.
So starting today, October 30th, through November 2nd, please join our friends over on Twitch for a weekend long Twitch raid train that will take you through many different streamers and their communities in order to break past that 10K goal. For many of them, it is their first time doing any kind of charity stream, and we can’t thank them enough for taking the time out of their busy schedules to help with this. We also want to thank their communities as well for supporting such a great cause.
If you are able to donate, you can do so on the Crusaders of Chaotic Kindness Extra Life team page or through our RPGFan page. Either method is fine, as it all goes towards the same goal!
Now I know what you’re about to say. “I don’t have any money to donate, can I still help?” Of course you can! By simply watching, chatting, lurking, or even afking at the start or at any point of the raid train, your presence will help boost eyes to each channel, and without your input you will be sent to the next channel in the raid train to help them as well. More eyes on the marathon means more people get to see, and more potential to reach their goal.
The marathon starts on QQ_Tofu’s channel today, October 30th, at 10:00 am PT/1:00 pm ET and runs through all participants in 2–4 hour blocks till Sunday night!
