During The Game Awards 2025, we got a whole series of announcements, and if you enjoy Soulslike games, this one will interest you. Developer and publisher CI Games has revealed the first gameplay trailer of Lords of the Fallen II.

Revealed in August during Gamescom, this new game builds on the foundation of the first title and brings back one of its most unique features: the ability to travel between the world of the living and the world of the dead. It also introduces a gruesome new element.

Lords of the Fallen II will launch in 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through the Epic Games Store. Watch the official gameplay trailer below.

In Lords of the Fallen II, you play as the Lampbearer, and you can actually dismember your enemies, limb from limbโ€ฆ

Key Features

One world. Two realms. No mercy.

Lords of the Fallen is a dark fantasy action-RPG where brutal, soulslike combat meets a world splitting at its core. Battle against the darkness in an epic adventure across a shattered kingdom.

Explore a Broken World

Journey across a vast, war-torn kingdom crumbling from within, as the realms of living and dead begin to bleed into one. From moonlit citadels to time-ravaged temples, tread carefully, for each step forward may well be your last.

Master Tactical Combat

Engage in intense, soulslike battles where every strike counts thanks to a fast, fluid and aggressive combat system. Whether steel or sorcery, melee or ranged, experiment with countless builds to overcome each unique enemy encounter before delivering an arena-drenching execution.

Battle Monstrous Bosses

Confront colossal abominations forged in a world without hope and void of mercy. Each distinct showdown will prove a brutal test of skill, grit, and unyielding will. Though aid is at hand, should you seek itโ€ฆ

Harness the Umbral

As bearer of the Umbral lamp, you have the ability to pass between the realms of the living and the dead, each with its own pathways, treasures, and of course, nightmarish creatures. But even greater, darker powers await you on this journeyโ€ฆ

Freelance graphic designer by day and gaming aficionado by night, Adem joined the RPGFan team to fully express his passion for video games. He grew up playing on his uncle's PC and PS2, which introduced him to many titles he was probably too young for (Resident Evil 4 and Vagrant Story at 8?!). Thankfully, his uncle also passed on the dedication needed to reload a Dragon Quest VIII save just to earn enough casino tokens for the Gringham Whip, and for that, he's forever grateful.
