Persona 30th Anniversary Artwork 001

ATLUS has unveiled a Persona 30th anniversary website to celebrate its most popular series and promised updates throughout the year. It showcases original artwork by longtime ATLUS artist Shigenori Soejima, fusing all of the previous series protagonists in a stylish tableau. Persona has had six mainline games consisting of Persona (1996), Persona 2: Innocent Sin (1999), Persona 2: Eternal Punishment (2000), Persona 3 (2006), Persona 4 (2008), and Persona 5 (2016). All entries feature Japan as its setting, ranging from urban landscapes of Tokyo, island cities, and rural towns. The series features turn-based combat and is known for melding high-school themes with supernatural mystery, with later entries introducing life-simulation elements anchored to passing calendar days.
