Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have released a demo for Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties. It is currently available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
Players can sample both halves of the game, playing as Kazama Kiyru in Yakuza Kiwami 3 and Yoshitaka Mine in Dark Ties. In Kiwami 3, players will be able to explore a section of Ryukyu, Okinawa, where they’ll be able to engage in real-time beat em’ up combat, a slice of both main and sub-stories, karaoke, and more. In Dark Ties, players will be able to explore a section of the main story within the series mainstay locale, Kamurocho. In that, they’ll be able to explore side activities and various sub-stories while utilising Mine’s shoot-boxing combat style to take down enemies.
RGG Studio has confirmed that save data will not carry over to the full game upon its release. For more on the game, check out an official synopsis below:

Left with an empty heart, the pursuit to find true bonds drives him forward once again in a dramatic journey colored by exhilarating boxing-based combat, and a variety of engaging side experiences.
Two men will walk different paths that converge to shake the very foundations of fate.

As someone whose patience has seemingly paid off for waiting for the Kiwami remakes, it seems now is a good time to jump into the Yakuza series headfirst with its release in mid-February.
