SEGA and Xbox have announced a joint showcase for Stranger Than Heaven, the upcoming game developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio.
The showcase will air on May 6th at 4:00 pm PT/7:00 pm ET/May 7th at 8:00 am JST/1:00 am CEST on YouTube (as seen below) and the official Xbox Twitch channel.
Ryu Ga Gotoku has confirmed that the 30-minute-long showcase will reveal a swathe of details about Stranger Than Heaven, including its world, core cast of characters, and narrative. This comes after recent confirmation that the game will span five eras of Japan (1915, 1929, 1943, 1951, and 1965) across five different cities.

I’m deeply curious to see how the showcase contextualises Stranger Than Heaven, whether it grounds its world, homes in on the zaniness replete in the Yakuzaseries, or mixes both in era-spanning elegance. Whatever it turns out to be, it’ll certainly be something we here at RPGFan will keep a close eye on!
Stranger Than Heaven will release for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. It will also launch on Xbox Game Pass. No release date has been confirmed at the time of writing.
